Basic
information:
The
Institute is a state, contributory and non-profit organisation
with a whole country performance placed in Zvolen. It was founded
on January 1, 1978 by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Slovak
Republic. The main activities are aimed at:

education of managerial and working staff in forestry and water
management sectors |

publishing,
printing and advertising services |
• |
preparation
and realisation of domestic and international educational projects |

Educational
activities are based upon credit system and carried out in
accordance with elaborated educational projects. Annually, there
are about 2000 participants educated by the Institute.
Educational process is closely connected with
the activities of printing and publishing centre that prepares
and provides a range of publications, educational materials, guides,
certificates etc.
The
institute has a long-time experiences in organising and cooperating
in international
projects within the framework of programmes of the EU such
as Phare orLeonardo da Vinci.
